Will You Be Attending the Delaware State Fair This Year?

Each year, the Delaware State Fair comes to the fairgrounds in Harrington. It completely takes over the expansive acreage, filling it with barnyard critters, celebrity singers, and even monster trucks. Since admission is just $9 for adults and $4 for kids, you bring the whole family to the fair from July 20th to the 29th for just a few bucks.

Once you’re inside, there’s tons to do, even without spending more money on tickets for one of the mainstage shows—which star big names like Darius Rucker, Brantley Gilbert, and Rascal Flatts. Check out the Antique Machinery Showcase, which features tractors and other farm equipment from the early 20th century. Head to the Giraffe Menagerie Petting Zoo to meet more than just farm creatures—you can actually pet resident giraffe, Twiggs. Hold a baby chick, participate in eating contests, or simply explore the other offerings at the Delaware State Fair.
